Comparison of Soil Erosion by Mulch and Cultivated Grass

11 November 2019 GCE Admin

The main objectives of this research:

1) To examine the quality of the surface runoff produced by measuring the physical properties of the water namely the runoff volume, turbidity and total suspended solids (TSS).

2) To evaluate the effectiveness of two methods of soil erosion control, namely mulch and cultivated grass (Axonopus compressus) under different rainfall conditions.

This paper was presented during one of the sessions of the 2nd International Conference on Material Technology & Energy 2019 which was held on 6th - 8th November 2019 at Curtin University Sarawak Campus, Miri, Sarawak.
